    Helpful for little skiers

We love this ski harness! It fits comfortably on my kiddo. I love that it’s has more space in the backpack than other ones for extra snacks!

  2. Judy

    Perfect size
Purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old for our Alaskan winter activities. It is perfect! She is a wild child and having this so be able to keep her in control is just what we needed!

How to harness the enthusiasm of your young wild buck on the slopes!
I love the High Stream Gear brand. They make quality ski products that capture the essence of the challenges we skiers face. And there is no more gripping an ordeal than teaching your little mini-me to ski without fear. I don’t want to tame my spunky kid’s wild abandon. I just don’t want him hurt or escaping my reach when he decides he has wings to fly! And as much as he wants to be on his own, I know that his confidence comes from being tied to me skiing behind him, far enough away but still in control. It’s a win-win when done right. This harness is smartly designed and ruggedly constructed, in catchy vivid colors, to make my little skier feel like the gear is for the big guys when he is wearing it. He enjoys suiting up, it’s HIS backpack and the point of being tethered doesn’t come to the forefront. Sometimes when there is no downhill he is NOT tethered, just wearing the harness and backpack like real skiers do. When I grab the reins it is “Don’t lose mommy!” and not the other way around. Let me also mention, on two occasions, when we went to a very busy mall during a 50% SALE frenzy, and then at an outdoor concert that was packed, I had him wear this harness, without the backpack, telling him it will show everyone you’re a skier, when it was actually to ensure that he was safely tethered to me in a chaotic crowd where he could easily be snatched, even with me right there. Or worse yet, if there was ever a crowd stampede. It’s a crazy world, and he is my most precious possession. SO what I am saying is that this harness could also be advertised and sold as personal protection equipment for kids too big for a stroller who can easily let go of your hand. Thank you High Stream Gear for including the whole family in creating wonderful dependable and fashionable products that make our lives so much better!

Great accessory for the little learners
This is a great accessory for the little ones who are just learning to ski. It’s small and lightweight, and it fits snugly to any toddler. It’s quite handy because you can attach straps to help steer the kid, and it has a handle to help load/unload from the lift, or help them up whenever they fall. The added backpack is also helpful to carry small items, but it’s not big enough to fit in a helmet. You can strap it on the side, though, but don’t count on fitting to many things in the bag. Still helpful to have. Recommended.

Looks like it will be the perfect thing for helping my little granddaughter to ski!
Looks like this backpack harness will be the perfect solution for helping my granddaughter learn to ski! The removable backpack is large enough for snacks for both of us. Yum! The backpack has a strong handle to hold onto to aid in getting her on and off the chairlift. Looking forward to using this when we go skiing in a few weeks.

So convenient & easy to use
We LOVE this backpack to help us safely so with our toddler. I’m so happy she can now join the family on our adventures. My favorite part is the backpack to store snacks, hats & gloves — it makes things super convenient

    So far, seems great!
This is my “first impressions” review (still haven’t had a chance to take it out to the slopes yet). Seems very well constructed, and the harness can be adjusted to fit snugly on my 5 year old (who’s actually the size of a 6-7 year old). She really likes it! And I get the feeling it will get her more enthusiastic about trying skiing for the first time, and greatly enhance her first time on the slopes with Dad to help right behind her!

    We love these backpacks!
We are so excited to go skiing in a couple of weeks. We were nervous to venture out with our 2 kids until a Facebook ad shows us this backpack.
We love them so much. We can remove the backpack and only use the harness or pack a snack a water for the mountain! The are also so stylish!!!!

  10. Kuniko

    Perfect
Absolutely love it! Such a convenient and safe way to go skiing with my daughter. Love the backpack as well!!!! Perfect combination

  12. Kendra

    Great for toddlers
Haven’t been able to take it out skiing yet, will update my review once I do.
So far my toddler likes wearing it around. It seems like decent quality at a great price! Love the handle on the back and will come in handy when I take my toddler skiing.

    A Colorado Kid Essential
My kids are 5 and 3 and neither has had the opportunity to hit the slopes yet. I feel so much more confident taking them to the mountains with this ski harness. I know they will too! I love the option of zipping off the backpack portion and only having the harness! But appreciate having the backpack when needed. I can’t wait to continue to use this until my littles are ready to be on their own.

    Ski safely
We’re taking our youngest daughter to play in the snow and my husband would like to teach her how to ski. Since I’ve never learned how to ski myself I wanted to find something that can help her to feel stable and safe. This training harness for our child is also a backpack allowing her to store personal belongings for convenience. I also appreciate and I’m impressed with the emergency whistle that is part of the design of the harness backpack. There is also a large and strong assistance handle right at the top it feels pretty strong and it gives indentations for your fingers to sit comfortably to take care of your child. There is also stitching where you can apply carabiner locks for other items. This is such a great idea of having a small backpack which is also attached with a removable ski harness and two straps along with two carabiner locks. What a great product to assist your child on and off the chairlift and to have greater security over their movement. My husband and I do our best to prevent any injuries so we are very grateful to have this product and we feel very confident in using it.

    Sturdy, well thought out
This is a very nice backpack and ski harness for toddlers and small early elementary children. The harness part is stored inside the backpack. Even with the harness in there , there is still room for a few snacks and then 2 water bottles on the outside side pockets. The backpack also zips off completely if you only want to use the harness.

This is well thought out although I did have to look at the pictures online to know how to attach the harness. Easy to do and even easier if you attatch before you go outside in the snow. Clumsy with gloves on. I almost missed the whistle, but it is built into one of the clasps that go around the upper chest area.

I also like the upper grab handle at the top of the backpack/ harness. This whole thing is just another way to help get your kids outside and active and at the same time give the adult a feeling of control.

    great quality
Great for the beginning snowboarder. I order this for my little grandson. This is the first year that he and his sister are going to be hitting the slopes. He’s a rough-and-tumble kid. High Stream Gear is more than up to the challenge. I especially like that the backpack can be removed. The multiple straps allow it to be securely adjusted to fit him just right. It can be adjusted so that it fits until he is good enough that he no longer needs it.

    Great for outdoors!
Plan to use it for the grandkids skiing. Love the detachable backpack – will be great for snacks and spare mittens.! The straps are very sturdy – I like the design so they are easily detachable on the chair lift. The chest strap is adjustable with a lot of room to modify placement if necessary. Excellent value.
